Cory & Chad Baumgartner (fellow fighters)
Hey Steve,
Cory and Chad here.. We just wanted to lend a hand and let you know we would love to do a show or shows to raise money for this cause.. Chad and I had Cancer in our chest when we were 21 years old... Thankfully after surgery etc we are Cancer free. So please contact us and we would love to organize a show or whatever it takes to get the job done.. You have always been kind to us and we think your an awesome comic.  Again keep us in mind and let's get together and make things happen...

Sincerely,
Cory & Chad
Mitchell Ohlman (THIS is why I play the Pie Shop Circuit)
Hi Steve,

I caught your show a couple of hours ago at the Marie Calenders in Valencia.  Very funny, I had a blast! Also, I think this D2DL thing you're doing is great. I have sent my letter and I will be encouraging all my friends (and their friends) to do the same. Honestly, I feel your talent alone is enough to get you on that show. Showing somebody who is "living with cancer, not dying from it". It's an important and inspiring message that needs to be carried and I will do what I can to help you accomplish your goal.

Thanks again for the laughs and I truly wish you the best of luck!

Sincerely,

Mitchell Ohlman
John Keating (nice words from a peer)
Hey Steve,

Just wanted you to know I dropped an email to Letterman on your site.  I really hope it works for you as you are a rare breed....truly funny and a really good guy.  Comedy, hell the world, needs more like you.  Apparently, your job here is done and you definitely are leaving things a little better for having stuck around.

I send you and your family much love and light.

Larry Perna (old childhood friend)
Hey, Steve, I really don't know what to say, But if you need my help out here in South Jersey. Please let me know. I havent been on your site for awhile and I told my Mom about your web site, then she calls me up yelling at me for not telling her about your health(you know how my mom is). I didnt have a clue.
I also wanted to let you know that although we kind of went our separate ways after high school I always thought of you as the closet I had to a brother. I am also very proud of what you have done. You are doing some good things. I really mean it. I just wanted to let you know you are always part of my family. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon.  LP
Chad Amiot ( a lost friend from the Navy)
Hi Steve, I can't imagine what you must be going through. It seems that
every day I hear of someone else that has some type of cancer. I told
my son (8 years old) who you were and how I knew you and he said that he
would pray for you to get better. I told him that you could get better
with the help of God and those prayers could help too. Stay strong and
we will all keep you in our prayers. I emailed the Letterman show and I
hope to see you on there soon.
Take Care, Chad Amiot
Ina Levine (my best friend's Mom)
Hi Steve,
Lee just arrived for his week at Laff’s and we were talking about you and I just emailed Letterman. I looked at your site. Pretty cool site. It is nice to see that Lee and Gary are there with you. I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
Take care of yourself and Denise.
Lee’s mom.

Nels Stromborg (This one's funny)
My friend Kim, sent me your web site. I am so incredibly speechless
at this news. I was so impressed with you when I last saw you perform
(I also dumped my crazy ass girlfriend that ruined my night).

I responded and sent David and email. He better fucking put you on.

Brother....I don't know what to say.
