The greatest feeling a filmmaker can have? For us, it may have been the moment we had to give our seats away because the screening completely sold out.
Well, until 80 minutes later when we received a standing ovation at the world premiere of our film, Dying to do Letterman.
Or, 30 minutes later when approximately 327 of the 330 folks who showed up to our screening were still there at the Q and A.
To all who came and gave us the greatest night of our lives, thank you. You made every moment of this six year journey worth it.
Here’s some rough flip cam footage of the crowd reaction immediately after the movie:

Hands down, one of the most inspiring movies of the festival. Loved the opening and brought friends to the third show.
However, I thought you were quite clear about standing ovations.
Daryl,

Adam, thanks! Can't wait for you to shoot the next one.
Debbie: we were lucky to have you! Thanks for swinging by!
It was wonderful to be there for the premiere. What a great film! Thanks Steve, Denise, Joke and Biagio for hanging out after to answer the good Qs from the crowd. We will be spreading the word about D2DL.
Congratulations J&B! Sounds and looks like D2DL was enjoyed by all! Looking forward to the next documentary journey.
